OCD is setting in :)

This is a probably just a sign that I am becoming more and more obsessed with timeframes, waiting, blogging...whatever!! But, I have changed our "wait for a referral" timer to the date that America World received our competed dossier- from what I hear, this is when your official wait begins! So, if you pay attention to that stuff, you are not going crazy, we did gain a few days :)

I don't really know how to do this... I have read many blogs but never tried to contact the blogger:) Anyway, my name is Lisa Bond. I live in Georgetown Kentucky and we have two Ethiopian children and one on the way. I don't know if you've any friends who have went thru the process but I'd love to talk with you if you need an ear. Sometimes the journey to our adopted children is loney. Blessings, Lisa My email is

Hi there! I haven't checked in on your blog for quite some time.......the OCD of waiting for over 6 months ebbs and flows. I have to remove myself from blog-hunting at times, but I always come back. I wanted to say I was so happy to read about your fundraiser, what a blessing! Glad to see you are officially logged in with your dossier # and all! So fun.....enjoy the waiting and planning and the occasional emotional outbreaks, it's all part of the process and I am glad to be waiting with you!

Let's just say that OCD stands for Obsessive Checking of Dossier. Or Obsessive Checking of could go on and on! ;)
Happy for you to be at the waiting stage!!

I don't want to post my name for privacy reasons, but I will tell you that my mom goes to your church and my sister is a physician.

I can't believe I found this blog! Even more so... I can't believe Lisa found it too! I know Lisa... she is the one who told me about our agency's older child program. She is real, and really nice... she would have wonderful things to share with you.

You can check out my blog (that I just started) at

I'm excited to be able to keep up with your journey. Best of luck!
